Obtained as a Rockruff with Own Tempo, Jack initially thought to potentially breed her with Bandit. However, both Martini and Bandit seemed to think she was their daughter, so those plans have been dashed. She's just as bold as her 'father', however.

Rescued in the snow outside Violet City, Crybaby earned her name through her wailing when Jack tried to trade her away to Armin. She also gets upset when she can't see her trainer or they try to put her back in the Pokeball. Other than that, she's generally a friendly and sweet pokemon who Jack hopes will mellow out with some age.

Mercy takes after her mother Ninetails in terms of temperament, but is prone to fits of vanity or ego-puffing like her father. She lives a confusing life, as Jack refers to her as "Mercy" in public but "Angie" in private. She was evolved immediately prior to deployment to help Articuno at Whirl Islands.

She's protective of the small Pokemon and has become part of his team, despite never formally being caught in a Pokeball. Jack likes to claim that she's not actually his, but she's already proving herself a warm and loyal companion.
